Presentation

Cadernos ESP Journal, created in 2005 by the Paulo Marcelo Martins Rodrigues School of Public Health of Ceará (ESP/CE), is an open access and free journal  aimed at the submission and publication of scientific articles. Over the years, it has consolidated itself as a national reference in the area of Public and Collective Health, standing out for the articulation between Education, Technologies and Innovation.

With continuous periodicity, the journal publishes critical-reflective productions that address new care and treatment practices, as well as technical studies relevant to the debate on contemporary health challenges. Its audience includes students, professionals, managers and society in general.

The editorial policy includes both theoretical-scientific works and interventional proposals and reports of institutional experiences, covering different branches of the health sciences and strengthening the dialogue between research and practice.


Scope and periodicity

 The journal publishes unpublished works, with continuous periodicity, that contribute to the advancement of Collective Health and related areas, including:

2.                   training and educational processes

3.                   Innovation and technologies in health

4.                   care and management practices

5.                   Social determinants of health

6.                   health of vulnerable populations and health equity

 Theoretical and empirical studies and reports of institutional experiences are accepted, with priority given to original articles.

The journal encourages the publication of studies aligned with regional and global health challenges, including those related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 3.

 The journal adopts the immediate open access model, guaranteeing free access to the full text of all articles.
