Aims & Scope
CadernoESP® is an international quarterly journal that publishes peer-reviewed manuscripts in the field of public health based on its originality, importance, interdisciplinary interest, opportunity, accessibility, elegance and surprising conclusions.
CadernoESP®'s Mission Statement
First, to serve the population by publishing significant advances in the field of health education. Second, to ensure that the results of the studies are quickly disseminated to the public worldwide, in a way that conveys their importance to knowledge, culture and daily life.
Journal's Politics and Ethics
The CadernoESP® expects its authors, reviewers and editors to have a high ethical standard in conducting research, submitting articles and throughout the peer review process.
In the submission process is necessary to confirm the reading instructions to the authors, the ethical standards for international research and the complementary documentation depending on the type of manuscript submitted.
The CadernoESP® is standardized according to the International Commite of Medical Journal Editors (Vancouver style) available at http://www.icmje.org.
The submitted manuscripts must be sent exclusively to CadernoESP® journal, and their simultaneous submission to another journal is not allowed. Authors must declare these conditions in the submission process. If the publication or simultaneous submission in another journal is identified, the article will be disregarded. The simultaneous submission of a scientific article to more than one journal is a serious lack of ethics by the author. The published articles represent the opinion of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the official policy of Ceará's Public Health School, the editorial board of the journal CadernoESP®, and the institution to which the author is affiliated, unless it is clearly stated and documented.
The published manuscripts are the property of CadernoESP® Journal, and reproduction, even partial, in other journals, whether in printed or electronic format, as well as translation into another language without the authorization of the Author and Scientific Editor of the Journal, is prohibited.
The manuscripts are carefully evaluated by the editorial board of Cadernos ESP Journal, organized based on the peer review system. Anonymity and confidentiality are guaranteed throughout the evaluation process. Following the ethical concepts of the National (Brazil) Health Council (CNS), resolution 466/2012 (http://aplicacao.saude.gov.br/plataformabrasil/login.jsf), the author must mention in his manuscript the approval according to the National Commission for Ethics in Research (CONEP), the National Health Council (CNS), or some similarly equivalent body, when the research comes from another country.
The Journal adopted the requirements of the World Health Organization and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors, regarding clinical trials, these must be registered in the Brazilian Registry of Clinical Trials (http://www.ensaiosclinicos.gov.br/).
CadernoESP® adhere to international standards for responsible research publication developed by the Publication Ethics Committee (COPE) (http://publicationethics.org/international-standards-editors-and-authors) which is intended for authors and editors.
In addition, the journal also agree with the animal research rules issued by the National Council for Animal Experimentation Control (CONCEA), Resolution 32/16 (http://twixar.me/941n), which deals with integrity and good practices in the production, maintenance or use of animals in teaching or research activities, based on international ethical models.

After this stage, ALL manuscripts will be submitted to evaluation of anti-plagiarism software.
