QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE PHYSICAL THERAPIST IN THE PANDEMIC AND APPLIED TECHNIQUES

To know the quality of life (QoL) of physical therapists working in the ICU and the techniques used. The study is observational, analytical, cross-sectional, and descriptive. Approach is of the snowball type, publicized in social networks the link to access. The study had 32 participants aged 30.11± years, female, specialized in intensive care, salary income ≥5 minimum wages, working in a hospital with a weekly ICU shift of <40 hours. The QOL of the physical therapists according to the Whoquol-bref questionnaire was not affected, despite the fact that most of the facets were regular. The most used physiotherapeutic techniques according to the level of consciousness are: pronation (level 1), sitting (level 2 and 3), active kinesiotherapy (level 4) and ambulation (level 5). The physical therapists who worked in the ICU in the state of Santa Catarina had a good QoL during the pandemic and that the physical therapy techniques corresponded to the levels recommended by the early mobilization protocol.
