HEALTH SURVEILLANCE STRATEGIES OF A MUNICIPALITY IN CEARÁ

This study aims to describe the actions taken by the Health Surveillance of Banabuiú to control the Covid-19 pandemic in the years 2020 and 2021. This is an experience report with a qualitative and descriptive approach, using bibliographic and field procedures for data collection regarding the actions against Covid-19 by the ANVISA in Banabuiú in the period from March 2020 to May 2021, the period of greatest contingency of these actions to confront the pandemic in the city. We sought to know the main actions of the municipal VISA in the districts and localities, as well as documents received from the Public Ministry and those issued, the Terms of Science and the Notices of Infractions. It is considered that Banabuiú was able to successfully face, in an articulated way, actions to confront COVID-19 in its municipality in a humanized way, dialoguing with the civil society and always seeking the best for the collective health of its population.
