To report the experience of a permanent education action during the COVID – 19 pandemic, through the preceptorship of the Public Health internship of the Medicine Course, as well as to reflect on the importance of this activity for students and tutor. A descriptive study of the experience report type, developed by the internship preceptorship to train students in relation to the management of suspected or confirmed patients with Covid-19 from March to July 2021. The professionals actively participated in the teaching process. learning through the group study of the Covid-19 management protocols, cared for patients under supervision, expressed feelings related to the moment of pandemic and reflected on their practices. The experience reveals fragility during the continuing education process, such as limited knowledge to approach patients with COVID-19, the need for constant updating and handling of feelings, relevant to training processes.
