EXPANDING ACCESS TO MENTAL HEALTH EDUCATION

Abstract

To present the steps, the methodology tried and the profile of the students in the construction and evaluation of the educational project "Care in mental health and psychosocial care: evaluation, management and follow-up in the territories" (SMAPS-CE) in 2020. Bulit-in of the pedagogical design for distance education with the use of active remote teaching-learning methodologies. Two pilot classes of the virtual blended course, mediated by tutoring, were carried out for the purpose of tutoring training and pedagogical evaluation of educational resources and formats. The graduates recognized the contribution of the course in different aspects in view of the positive evaluations received. Despite having been adapted to the remote mode, the educational objectives proposed in the original project for the face-to-face format were achieved.
