ANALYSIS OF OCCUPATIONAL RISKS IN A PUBLIC HEALTH AGENCY OF FORTALEZA-CE

Abstract

To analyze occupational risks in a public health agency in Fortaleza-CE. This is a quali-quantitative study, based on interviews structured in a questionnaire. 34 professionals from the Health Surveillance Coordination were interviewed in April/2023, who satisfactorily evaluated the quality of life at work. For that, the parameters satisfaction, workload and concentration in carrying out the work activity were considered. However, environmental and occupational risks were identified, with ergonomics being the most prevalent risk. It is also important to highlight the importance of building a risk map as a guiding instrument in identifying risks that have a strong impact on workers' health. It is necessary to think about improvements in working conditions in order to eliminate and/or reduce the risks present in the work activities of these professionals.

Marina Pereira de Vasconcelos, Secretaria Municipal de Juazeiro do Norte. Juazeiro do Norte, CE - Brasil.

Master in Public Health - FIOCRUZ (PE), specialist in Sanitary Surveillance and Environmental Health Surveillance, graduated in Public Health Management from the Regional University of Cariri (2007) and Food Technology from the Faculdade Instituto Centro de Ensino Tecnológico (2005) and undergraduate in Law from the Faculty of Juazeiro do Norte (UNIJUAZEIRO). She is currently a food technologist at the Sanitary Surveillance of Juazeiro do Norte-CE. He has experience in teaching and coordination in the area of ​​Public Health, Food Science and Technology, with an emphasis on Food Science and Technology, working mainly on the following topics: hygiene, good manufacturing practices and food handling, health surveillance and legislation.

Eline Saraiva Silveira Araújo, Fortaleza Municipal Secretary of Health

Graduated in Nursing from the University of Fortaleza (2002); Specialist in Family Health (Escola de Saúde Pública do Ceará-2003), Specialist in Professional Education in the Area of ​​Health: Nursing (Fundação Oswaldo Cruz-2004) and Specialist in Health Surveillance (Hospital Sírio Libanês-2016). Master and PhD in Clinical Care in Nursing and Health (State University of Ceará, 2013 and 2020 respectively). Member of the Nursing, Education, Health and Society Research Group (GRUPEESS). Manager of the Sanitary Surveillance Cell in Fortaleza and nurse at the Dr. José Frota from the municipality of Fortaleza-CE.

Keyteanne Bezerra de Melo Costa, Fortaleza Municipal Secretary of Health

Graduated in Nursing from the Federal University of Ceará (2002). She is currently Technical Advisor in the Health Services sector and in the health sector of the Health Surveillance Cell in the city of Fortaleza. Specialization in Health Surveillance by the School of Public Health of the State of Ceará, specialization in Health Management by FIOCRUZ and in Educational Processes in Health with Emphasis on facilitating Active Methodologies of Teaching and Learning by the Teaching and Research Institute - Hospital Sírio Libanês - IEP /HSL. He was a member of the State Coordination for Patient Safety and the Prevention and Control of Infections Related to Health Care within the scope of the Health Department of the State of Ceará, he was a Member of the Municipal Council for Consumer Protection

Edglesy Carneiro Aguiar, Secretary of Health of the State of Ceará, Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil

Graduated from the University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR) in Nursing (2003). Specialist in Management of Health Services and Systems by the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). Master at the Federal University of Ceará in Medical Microbiology, with emphasis on the study of Immunology. He has experience in Nursing, with an emphasis on Public Health, HIV/AIDS, Mental Health, coordination and visiting professor of Leprosy and Tuberculosis courses at the School of Public Health of the State of Ceará. She is currently a Maternity Nurse at the Assis Chateaubriand School, assisting postpartum women and high-risk pregnant women, a scholarship holder at the PUBLIC HEALTH SCHOOL OF THE STATE OF CEARÁ, as Coordinator/Manager of Specialization Projects in Sanitary Surveillance, professor of the Post-Graduation in Auditing in Health by Estácio/FIC.
